John has arranged over $200 million in financing with conduit lenders, insurance companies, banks, and S&Ls. Expect creative responses in everything from term sheet to loan commitments, as well as negotiating loan documents and covenants. John has experience with recourse, limited recourse and non-recourse financing, and can advise his clients on issues such as loan guarantees.
- Assess financing requirements for real estate construction, mini-perm and permanent financing
- Assess financing requirements for working capital needs including lines of credit
- Gather information on the past operating performance of the business or real estate asset and projections for future performance
- Prepare loan application – based on lender-specific underwriting
- Negotiate loan terms and covenants
- Facilitate the closing process and coordinate with third parties the preparation of due diligence reports (working directly with appraisers, attorneys, and engineers)
- Devise and employ optimal financing strategies to support ROI objectives
